Kill Your Radio: Smoke DZA, Camp Lo & Nerd Ferguson

Ignore that picture (I just thought it was funny) and kill your goddamn radio.  That’s the new motto.  There’s too much good music to be had out here for grown-ass people to be turning on the radio or Pandora (if you haven’t gotten hip to Grooveshark, you’re losing…support this site as they’re in some legal issues right now) and expecting to hear quality.  You’re also losing if you haven’t voted for Front-Free in the Vibe Ultimate Blogger contest.  No personal information is required, just hit the link and click “Like Me” from your various computers and mobile devices.  And vote daily until April 16th.  I’m planning to make major moves with Front-Free this year and winning this or becoming a finalist would really give me the exposure I need.  Just click the link below to be directed to the site.  And THANK YOU.

Oh, so you were just gonna speed past the link and not vote?  Oh, okay, you know what?…

  • New This Week: THC (The Hustlers Catalog) x Smoke DZA – New sativa-laden material from Smoke DZA.  Somebody said Smoke resembles Lamont Sanford on the cover art shown below, but I’m chillin…I’m gonna just leave this right here, though…

  • 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s x Camp Lo & Pete Rock – Camp Lo?  Good money.  Pete Rock?  Good money.  Camp Lo and Pete Rock collaborating on one project?  Should be great money.  The 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s mixtape is the precursor to the actual project and features Camp Lo over classic Pete Rock production from the “T.R.O.Y.” era.  There’s also a couple of new cuts like “Mic Check” to hold us down ’til the final draft drops.  Click the image to download and enjoy.

  • Unhappy Hour x Nerd Ferguson – Last but not least, the homie Nerd Ferguson came through with the Unhappy Hour mixtape, which is in his own words “something to counter the typical flossin, hoes and swagger-rap goin’ on right now”.  It’s definitely off the beaten path of what’s out there presently so give it a listen and spread the word.  Click the image to download and enjoy.
